@SnoopDogg just got into my “celebrities that know the true value of Twitter” group. Not that I have a real group. I personally think not many people understand the true power of what social media can actually bring to them, unlike Alyssa Milano, Cory Booker, Aston Kutcher, etc. Charlie Sheen is not in the group at the moment. He’s too wild for me to handle. After watching the Twitter official birthday video, Snoop Dogg caught my attention when he talked about him following Martha Stewart and why he followed her. Recently, I read an article from the man himself, saying that Twitter has changed the relationship between artists and fans and why he encourages artists to be on it, as he believes that it is one of the biggest developments he has seen. … [Read more...] about Snoop Dogg is the Doggfather of Social Media Experts
What Six Months In Japan Taught Me About The Power Of Immersion In Social Media
Today we have a special guest post from Brandon Twyford. In this blog post Brandon shares his personal experience with us about learning and "jumping in" and how he relates it to social media. Enjoy this great post! I took three years of Spanish in high school and one year of Spanish in college. I had to start at Intro to Spanish in college because I had forgotten everything I learned in high school over the summer, just as I had to struggle to remember what I had learned the previous year each time I started a new Spanish course in high school. Spending one hour two or three days a week on a subject just doesn't make it sink in very well. Most of the knowledge you gain each day slips away as soon as you leave the classroom. Homework helps a little, but unless you have real-world … [Read more...] about What Six Months In Japan Taught Me About The Power Of Immersion In Social Media

Brand New Weekly Segments Coming to AskAaronLee.com
After many thoughts, I’ve decided to start two new segments on AskAaronLee that would be updated on a weekly basis. As of now, my blog posts are usually posted on random days and I usually decide to write a post when I find something interesting and want to share it with you. Due to my inexperience and as a method of learning for myself, I thought of writing more about what businesses are doing on social media, how they are humanizing their business and how people are professionalizing themselves. Hence, this blog is about humanizing businesses and professionalizing people (now say that at a fast pace nonstop). … [Read more...] about Brand New Weekly Segments Coming to AskAaronLee.com
Make It Easy for Customers to do Business With You
We’re all lazy! We don’t have the time and want everything to be as easy as possible. Don’t make it tough for us already! We don’t like to go an extra mile (Unless it’s really worth it or you paid us). If it’s possible, we don’t want to lift a finger at all! It may or may not be true, but these are just some things that I have noticed online while browsing and reading blogs. I noticed that until today, some businesses still make it so tough for customers to reach them, whether it’s on social media or just to get in touch with them. … [Read more...] about Make It Easy for Customers to do Business With You
