Thanks for the tip, i did that once without realizing what happened! LOL.

Great tip but I do have one question. I was told that every time someone blocks you, that it counts against you and eventually could get you thrown out of twitter search FOREVER. With that in mind, shouldn’t we be extra cautious and use this as a last resort? Just curious on your thoughts about this. Thanks

Haha I check every one that follows me (not too many) and I block or report for spamming any that have obviously followed me just to get my attention! That is basically anyone trying to sell something (gets reported), and anyone who is already following more than 1000 people!! There is no way they can be reading all those tweets! That is why I blocked you Aaron :)

  • Aaron

LoL.. Don’t worry no offense taken =)
I still love twitter and maybe you. We wouldn’t know lol

  • Aaron

If someone did something, and tried to sell something like tooth whitener, or spam that many people noticed it they deserved to be blocked lol.. There is a number for the amount of blocks. Not sure the number though

  • Aaron

LoL.. I found that out when I wanted to send a msg and accidentally click BLOCK.. oops!

Great little trick, thanks. I don’t know if there are any lists I’d want to remove myself from, but your cartoon has given me some GREAT ideas for new lists of my own!!! So a double thanks there.

Thanks so much for sharing this, Aaron. There was one list that I did not want to belong to (the equivalent of your example “people with stupid mustaches” ) and I followed your steps and it worked :) Thanks again!

It may be a stupid question but how do you find out if you’re on a ‘stupid Twitter List”?

  • http://twitter.com/TXFairTaxer Robert Williams ®

Simple. Log in to your Twitter account, go to your “Me” page, click on “lists”, then click on “members of”.
