I’ve posted infographic on facebook before, but I’ve found another done by onlineschools.org. They have done an amazing job creating this infographic about facebook. You might have already know some of them, but I am sure there are a few that you probably didn’t know about. I get really excited when I read infograhics because it is really easy to go through them and learn a lot as well. I must say, facebook has a lot of impressive numbers… Hint: $$

[…] ~Facts you probably didn’t know about Facebook […]
Actually, this infographic is WRONG in several significant ways:
1. Facebook DOES KEEP your profile information, your photos, your videos, your wall comments, and all of your other information when you deactivate your account, FOREVER. The do indeed access that information (as all their stats differentiate between active and inactive accounts demonstrates). Finally, they keep your information FOREVER. Under the terms of their monstrous user agreement, they own anything you post on facebook and can do whatever they wish with it. Forever.
Facebook says so itself: “However, we do save your profile information (friends, photos, interests, etc.),” at their own link at: http://www.facebook.com/help/?page=842
2. Facebook is STILL BEING SUED in the lawsuit related to the fact that Zuckerberg stole the code and ideas from Facebook from other Harvard Students. Story here: http://venturebeat.com/2010/05/19/facebook-conn…
3. Zuckerberg, the guy who started facebook, considers anyone who gives him their information to put on Facebook a “DUMB FUCKS”. Here is his quote: http://www.businessinsider.com/well-these-new-z…
4. Facebook, besides completely violating the privacy of anyone who uses it (by default), is a poorly written website which has had continuous non-hacker related problems which has revealed people's private messages and chats to others, including their non-privileged friends, and Google..making the information searchable FOREVER. http://www.pcworld.com/article/160545/facebook_…
Nice infographic you posted there Aaron! 🙂 Yeah a few things I did not know yet. 🙂
Someone's bitter.
Thank you Milo =D
Thank you for the comment mate,
However I am just the messenger.
LoL!
Thanks for posting Aaron… pretty interesting!
Google is and will remain #1. Why, because they cover all the bases and rely on the content of users, but paid professionals who actually understand the internet as an entire entity. Only Google really has the handle on the big picture. This is tough for people to accept. They have trouble accepting that Lennon and McCartney were the best composers in modern history (not brian wilson) …I know; it's tough!
You're welcome Denise =D
