How To Set Up Your Sales Funnel To Make Money On Repeat

If you run any kind of online business, then one thing you really need to have in place is a good sales funnel that can automate your sales process for you so that you can actually create the freedom you desire in, both time and money.

Now, just before I get into it, I want to be honest and say that what I’m going to show you here is NOT revolutionary by any means, but let’s be honest: not much is (despite the claims).

Marketing isn’t supposed to be revolutionary – it’s supposed to be simple. We learned from the greats like Gary Halbert, David Ogilvy, and Claude Hopkins, to name just a few. These guys were among the greatest copywriters, marketing, and advertising geniuses of all time, and what they taught back then still works today, so why would we need revolutionary stuff when the basics work like a charm?

The goal here is not to blow your mind with how cool and revolutionary a funnel is, but to get you out of overwhelm and into action so you can blow your own mind when you see what you’re actually capable of.

Here are the 4 key steps you need to have in place to create a simple, but seriously EFFECTIVE recurring income funnel:

– A KILLER OFFER:

Let’s be honest, the success of everything you do in your business lives and dies with how good your offer is. You can have the most sophisticated sales funnel, the best marketing strategy, drool-worthy copy, and the most polished website on the planet, but if your offer sucks, then your sales will, too. It’s that simple. Nail your offer, get it in front of the right people, and your funnel will seem like your personal ATM.

– A SEDUCTIVE SEQUENCE:

As simple as sales funnels are, what this really means is the actual components of it. When it comes to the actual content you include in your funnel, it really has to be amazing high value (well, assuming you want to actually make money from it). Your follow up sequence has to be value-packed, give steps that people can take action on right away to see results with. Sure, people need to know you’re in business and you don’t want to build a list of freebie-seekers, but just as you wouldn’t ask someone to move in with you on the first date, you can’t expect them to whip out the credit card after the first email. You need to show them that you’re worth it, and that they’ll actually see a return on their investment, so don’t skimp on this. Come up with great content to include in this seductive follow-up sequence, and you’ll soon see the benefits of it. You also need to be testing the effectiveness of your sequence by using analytics offered through your email marketing provider, and other website visitor tracking tools.

– A FABULOUS FREEBIE:

Again, don’t skimp on the value when it comes to your freebie – you can’t possibly give everything away in one PDF, video series, or webinar, and despite what you may think, nobody wants or expects you to, anyway. They have enough information bombarding them on a daily basis. They want something simple and actionable that they can put to work right away. Less content doesn’t need to mean less value, the two don’t go hand in hand, so if you want to build trust and authority with your readers and have them see the value in what you offer them, then keep it simple, and something they can implement then and there to actually see a tangible result with – that’s what they actually want.

– CONNECT WITH YOUR CROWD:

It’s all very well and good having the above 3 things in place, but if no one is actually getting to enjoy it, then it truly doesn’t matter how great your freebie, follow up sequence and offer are. The main key to actually having a successful recurring income funnel is getting the RIGHT people into the funnel in the first place. How you go about this, is completely up to you. Some people like to use Facebook ads for promotion, others blog, and others post in Facebook groups (NOTE: I do NOT recommend this as a way of generating quality leads at all). There are other ways that also don’t cost anything, but are more effective than this. Once you find the method that suits you and actually generates results in terms of bringing you quality leads, then just stick with it and keep improving upon it.

So, there you have it. Building a funnel really isn’t rocket science, and as long as you keep these 4 things in mind, then you can start creating your own right now.
