When you are in a Business School, there is a large number of things that you need to manage apart from studying and sitting for your exams. There will be writing and practical assignments for each subject and several independent and group projects to be done. You need to complete them on time and submit them on very strict deadlines. Keeping on top of all that requires advanced time-management skills and ability to focus.
It is quite understandable that it’s not always possible for the students to complete all these tasks on time, especially for those who try to balance their studies with work and family. Organize Your Time
If you are working already, building your schedule around your professional endeavors will be particularly difficult but that’s the crucial step. Lecture timetables, assignment deadlines, exam dates – everything must be there in your organizer early in September, otherwise, you risk making a mess out of things. Take time early in the academic year to plan ahead and to count every detail in.
Do not forget to allow at least 2 hours a day to study and revise outside classes so that you do not lag behind and you do not have to cram when your exams are near.
Preparing for tests and exams is another task that is not as straightforward as you might think. Just digging your head in the books will not help. You should also practice test papers, model answering questions and solving problems that may come up during the exams.
