Many of you know about my undying love for Twitter. It's the best platform to connect with people. Thanks to Twitter, I’ve built my brand even though I live in a small historical town that you probably have not heard of (Malacca, Malaysia) Earlier last month Brand24 monitored over 2,000,000 tweets and ranked the top marketers based the number of mentions that they have on Twitter. I was fortunate enough to be ranked #51 among some of the best marketers in the world. I owe that to the connections that I've managed to built on Twitter. That's the topic that I want to discuss today. CONNECTION. So, recently, I decided to tweak my bio. I did one minor changed which resulted in MORE emails and more opportunities. I simply added my email address to my Twitter … [Read more...] about A really smart way to connect with people on Twitter
How to get a lot of Followers on Twitter? There are many methods to get more Twitter followers. I'm sure you've heard social media gurus, experts, ninjas, and social unicorns tell you a cliched of how "it's not the quantity but the quality." This is true, and it's debatable. If I were given a choice between 1000 high-quality followers and 100,000 not so high-quality followers, I'd pick the latter. Many would too. It's true, and not many are willing to admit. When it comes to getting more Twitter … [Read more...] about How to get a lot of Followers on Twitter (Methods Experts Won’t Admit)

Recently, I decided to log back in to see what changed. I even did my first uncreative Vine video after a little bit of a push from my friend Ahna Hendrix. Guess what? a couple of days later, Instagram decided to add their own version of Vine onto their already so popular app. … [Read more...] about Twitter screwed up with Vine
Twitter can become a little overwhelming for those who have just got started. It is like having 100 radio stations switched on at the same time and catching bits of pieces of conversations here and there. One of the questions I get asked frequently is how do I manage or keep up with my Twitter stream? Some of these questions even come with questions such as if I am using a bot or have satffs managing my twitter account like Guy Kawasaki. All of them are false of course, and the answer really is much simpler than you thought. As you may already guess, it’s just by using Twitter lists. … [Read more...] about How to: Build a Twitter Following with Twitter Lists
I've been using twitter for over 3 and a half years now.. Looking back and reminiscing at the "old times", I’ve seen how much Twitter had changed and how it had helped to propel me in business. I can’t help but to look back and think what I would have done differently if Twitter somehow loses all of their data and I had to start it all over again. … [Read more...] about If I could start Twitter all over again, what would I have done differently?
