Inside of a Banned Twitter Account

I was retweeting some of my followers tweets as well “chit-chatting” with some of them. After that i click “profile” to see my profile, something interesting came up. No it wasn’t my profile. Instead this came up.

I got a shocked when I saw it. I guess twitter had too much time on their hands to suspend my account from so many other accounts that were selling “teeth-whitening products” to their followers. So I thought to myself why not write a post about how it feels like getting banned rather than complaining and going crazy or shouting twitter suspended my account!.

So here you are guys. Front row sits to a banned account.

So here you are guys, inside of a banned twitter account. This is the main profile part. As you noticed, I am not following anyone and nobody is following me back. The best part is….

I CAN READ UPDATES!

Not only I can read peoples updates, i can also…..

READ EVERYTHING! MENTIONS, RT’S..etc..

Wanted to reply my followers but too bad I can’t.. oh well! Thought I might just print screen all the pictures before i “go after” twitter.

Let me see, IF WE HAVE SUSPENDED YOUR ACCOUNT MISTAKENLY, PLEASE LET US KNOW. UHH.. yes you did.

So I click the “suspended accounts“ and they lead me to a new page.

I was thinking if I should send them like a really angry email, instead i start with…

DEAR TWITTER,

I’m not gonna show you what I wrote, because I am not sure if that’s against any TOS but I might in the future.

Hopefully they reply soon. Would love to hear the reason behind banning me. So there you go guys, front row sits of a twitter banned account. this is not acceptable.. what is wrong with twitter moderation team.. they go and disturb general people but they can’t clean up the many mass spammers … they can be really ridiculous sometimes.. i am so sorry this happened .. hopefully this will sort out soon enough..

Twitter need to get their act together!

Sorry to hear this has happened, Aaron. This also happened to @marie_ang and she was hopping mad. It turned out that someone tried to hack into her account and input the password too many times hence she was locked out of her own account.

Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon as we do miss your presence online, my friend : )

You’ll get it back, they’ll just take their time doing it. I had some friends get theirs suspended for having the same name as someone else, just spelled differently.

Send your ticket # to @Ginger and ask if she can tell you if you had a TOS problem or not. Use another account as needed. They won’t be specific, but will typically at least tell you if it was a TOS issue (when it is). If no reply from @Ginger, ask @Delbius–but give her a couple days to respond first.

My twitter acc being suspended few months ago. I get shocked too when i log into my twitter. Because all my effort for twitter was jz gone like tat. Then i figured why n i found this.

After few hours, my acc was resume automatically.
But the bad things is tweeple cannot search ur profile directly from the twitter find people search. it will shown >>We couldn’t find anyone named askaaronlee.

My account isn’t banned, but it is restricted- my tweets don’t show up in search & that means I can’t join in on hashtag discussions or chats

I’ve sent them an email but they haven’t responded as yet, maybe I ought to send another one.

I’ve been following you almost since I started my twitter account. I should say second twitter account. The same happened to me last summer. I had my first account for about a month when it was suspended. I don’t remember ever getting an answer back from them. At the time, there were less than 50 tweets to the account! I also made the mistake of setting up my mobile so I could tweet on the road. Anyway, I started my @lilbytes account and never looked back on the old one. But when wanted to set my mobile for tweets with @lilbytes, I found that it was still associated with the old account and was told to turn it off from the old account. Of course I couldn’t do that since I couldn’t get into the old account because it had been suspended. What a mess. The old account was finally reactivated and I was able to delete it, but now I still can’t tweet from my mobile.

I just wanted to say I’m sorry you had to go through all of this…and due to ‘human error’?! Well, I’m just happy to see you around again. I’ve missed ya.

Tools that automatically mass follow and unfollow people, like Tweet Adder or various websites that do the same, are banned by Twitter – were you using any of those?

Mine was suspended too, soon after i first joined up. I went round and round, the same paths, I think, as you. I never did find out WHY it was suspended besides the “suspicious activity” stuff, and I just gave up and opend up a new account, losing whatever info I had, including friends, DMS, everything. Now, I have the strange experience of Twitter telling me I can only follow a certain amount of ppl. So ppl follow me, and I might want to follow them, but I can’t. Twitter says I can come back every 24 hours and follow one more person. So I got rid of lots of ppl, unfortunately, to be able to follow ppl that I presently want to follow. It really sucks and Twitter has no page explaining this crazy stuff that they do to you except for their childish list of Q and As as you posted above. It’s nonsense!

Aaron,…this has happended to a couple of my Twitter pages too. I tried to research this through Twitter and apparently they do not allow “overlapping” websites, even though this happens all over Twitter. I get spammed to death. Anyway, I’m glad you’re back live. How did you accomplish this?

They also warned that I should be wary of utilization of Twitter auto follow softwares. I use Hummingbird and AutoFollowScript. Both are excellent products, but maybe this flagged Twitter somehow. Also I am a huge gan of Hootsuite because it allows me the ability to update all of the acocunts which could’ve also flagged Twitter as a violation.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks brother.
